This weekend I had to say goodbye to ma bonne amieJessica as she departed for the Land of the Aussie's and won't be backfor a year-- I miss her already-- We watched old embarrassing home videosof us as children and mastered the art of sushi-making (kind-of)

The day before she leaves we decided we really wanted to go horse-back riding.... it was hilarious... my horse had a purple "superman" suit on to keep him warm. It was not without any mishaps. Jessica had a really hyper horse that almost bucked her off- but she managed to stay on! We were venturing to go on a stroll/ride through the lovely streets of Langley, started,but decided against going on the road when our horses kept turning around in circles --- we decided she did not need to be in a body cast the day before she left the country...
But horses continue to be my most favorite animal... honestly-who could not love a horse???

I watched the drizzling rain turn to sunshine and it makes me smile.
